In wondering how far I could go with fitness, and he brought up the concept that we must defeat ourselves every day. This concept really resonated with me.
Always striving to be better. Improving upon weaknesses. Becoming more. Becoming stronger. It is about power. It is about progress.
It isn’t just about getting over your shortcomings. It is being better than your strongest self. Pushing just that little bit further, even after you’ve accomplished something great. It is kind of inspiring to be able to be more than you were yesterday. Not that who we are is not acceptable, we just have the potential to be so much more.
